Good new Firefly fans! The series will be returning to the air with the full original line up, picking up right where episode 14 left off. The writers hang a lampshade on the fact that the actors have all aged about 50 years, but mostly it’s back to their usual hijinks. The episodes are also now slightly longer, to allow time for the cast’s shuffling pace, pill breaks, and naptime.
I watched Dragonball Evolution the other day, and can happily confirm that it is truly awful. Chow Yun Fat turns in a career defining performance as the Dragonball equivalent of Mr Miyagi, and a number of things happen, none of which were particularly memorable.
On the plus side, I’m watching Airplane in the background while typing this, and it’s immensely more entertaining.
