Bird of Steel

I was very impressed by the longevity of Superman’s outfit in the Man of Steel movie, which survives explosions, cuts, impacts and all sorts. Presumably its durability comes from its alien origin and advanced technologies. Of course, that does also mean it would be pretty difficult to re-embroider if, say, the symbol of your house means something different on another planet. It could however lead to some lucrative sponsorship deals if you play your cards right. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out this non-spoilery clip for some background.

The drama took a bit of a backseat to the fighting in the movie. Not that that’s always a bad thing, but the fight scenes were a little bit like 2 hours of increasingly harder punches. Still, I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend!
