A Wonderful Life

If you happen upon a desperate soul, stood on a bridge and contemplating a precipice, I would probably consider not sneaking up and shouting “Stop!” at them, because that could provoke the wrong reaction. Particularly if the subject in question only has one leg, and may be prone to overbalancing even on level ground.

If you’ve never seen It’s a Wonderful Life then now would be an appropriate time of year to do so. It features a good hearted chappy who struggles through a series of tough breaks, and is in the kiwi’s position, when an angel comes to show him how lame everything would be if he hadn’t been born. Classic Christmas goodness. The kiwi’s tale features less of an uplifting outcome, but is still one to enjoy with the whole family during the Christmas season. To all those Hollywood hotshots reading this and marvelling at the potential, feel free to get in touch and we’ll talk about big screen adaptations.
