I’m a fan of that trick where you tell kids that the ice cream truck only plays the jingle when it’s run out of ice cream. This is sort of an advanced level version of that, for putting your kids off ice cream trucks altogether. Nice!
If you’ve read The Lord of the Rings, you may spot some similarities to the entwives Treebeard talks about. Man, that guys had a whole bucket of sad stories. No wonder he liked to blow off a little steam tearing up wizard strongholds every once in a while.
